Networking
Over the years you may have slowly added workstations one at a time.
Maybe like many of our clients it has become one big patched up system.
No surprise then, the first request we have when starting out with our client
is to integrate the networked PCs, printers scanners and digital Xray stations.

Our first priority would be to provide you with these features:

San Diego Networking
1. A centralized File Server: All your practice management software data, including scheduler, EMR charts and accounting data will be consolidated in an organized directory file structure on one server. In place will be a departmentalized structure that shares Outlook calendars and Contacts as well as all Word, Excel documents and templates.
2. Practice Programs: Your dental software data together with any Xray images from Panorex or any other Xray capturing device will be securely stored and backed up on a central server. We will integrate these features even if it is on a Linux server.
3. LAN Security: You will be closer to HIPAA security compliance since all stations will require password logons to access data on the server. Our router is configured with a standard firewall isolating the internal network from outside internet access.
4. Broadband Access: We will install and configure all client stations to simultaneously access the internet and each user can have their own email.
5. Fax Server: All faxes can be received digitally at a centralized Fax server and can be printed, emailed or added to charts as an electronic document.
6. Remote access: Securely dial in through the internet to access your email, calendars, schedules anytime from home or anywhere in the world.
7. Backups: Automated backups, on-site and a backup plan for off-site storage.
